This is Spencer F. Katt with a special Comdex edition of Rumor Central.

And today, it's the party report-- THE party... MY party... the one and only PCWeek Spencer F. Katt party at Studio 54.

All the luminaries were there, and ZDTV's presence was dominating.

Patrick Norton spotted Fresh Gear's Sumi Das dancing with Bill Gates. Not to be outdone, ZDNN newsanchor Victoria Recano seized a moment with the Harvard dropout. Shocked by her boldness and beauty, the billionaire froze. Victoria's reaction to the experience, Bill Gates was, quote, "like a deer caught in the headlights."

Other sightings: VisiCalc's Dan Bricklin, the queen of Comdex, Kiki, and Billy Brackenridge-- the man whose name is synonymous with USB and audio. He drank Guinness all night till he could barely stand up.
